ABOUT ME

My name is Aiyalina Abdykadyr. I am a foundation student at the University of DMU. My study and passion in life is Fine Art. I grew up in Almaty, a mountainous city in Kazakhstan, where I discovered various skills such as language studies, film making, music, photography, however, art is what brings me the most joy and I feel that my future life is intertwined with this subject completely. Throughout my journey, I discovered artists that inspired me to create more, that includes Marlene Dumas, Alex Grey and Frida Kahlo. Looking at life through the lens of art and creativity made me introspect myself and the world around me, which made me who I am today. This portfolio will show my journey as an artist.
